What updream is
updream is an AI video creation product independently developed by Bilibili. It is aimed at the platform's broad base of creators, known as UP masters, and it exists to lower the barrier to video production for that community. The product is described as lightweight and intelligent, with a simple interface that is easy to use and saves creators time and effort. It was developed in response to growing creative demand from Bilibili creators and is positioned as a one-stop video creation assistant for them. On payment, the listing does not state specific pricing, but the product has a points system, which suggests a mix where some features are free to use while additional functions may require points.
What you can do with it
- Create videos for a Bilibili channel with AI assistance
- Cut down the manual editing time on each upload
- Work in a lightweight interface instead of a heavy editor
- Use extra functions through the points system when needed
Who it is for
- Bilibili creators, also known as UP masters, who upload often
- New creators who want a simple tool to start with
- Anyone who wants AI help without the overhead of a full editor
- Creators who care more about speed than deep manual control
What to watch out for
Payment details are not clearly stated. The points system suggests some functions may cost extra, so check the current pricing and your points balance before you rely on it for a full workflow. Free rules and points pricing can change, and the product is aimed at one platform's creator base, so its fit for other kinds of video work is narrower. Because it is built for speed and simplicity, expect less manual control than a professional editor offers, and if your channel needs precise timing or complex effects, plan to finish the edit elsewhere.
