HelloGen

HelloGen is an online design tool built on advanced image and video models, with a pricing promise that is unusual in this space: you only pay for the content you generate. Its core features are AI image and video generation, and two advantages stand out. Generated images carry no watermark and include built in commercial licensing, which matters for anyone using output in client or product work. A creation assistant helps you choose models and write prompts, and critically it shows the price before generation and does not charge if a generation fails. On pricing, a free account includes 10 creation assistant conversations per day and access to free models. Paid plans listed on the page are Basic at 9.99 dollars per month with 1200 credits and Pro at 19.9 dollars per month with 3600 credits, and credit packages start from 4.9 dollars. For freelancers, the no charge on failed generations and the up front price remove two of the usual annoyances of credit based tools.

- Generate images and video from one interface

- Use watermark free output with commercial licensing

- Let the assistant pick models and draft prompts

- See the cost before you commit to a generation

- Combine image and video work in one workflow

- Designers and creators who need commercially safe assets

- Marketers producing images and video in one workflow

- Beginners who want guidance on model choice

- Freelancers who need licensing clarity for client work

The free account caps creation assistant conversations at 10 per day, so heavy use moves to paid plans quickly. Prices listed on the page, including the 9.99 and 19.9 dollar plans and credit packs from 4.9 dollars, can change, so confirm current pricing before you budget. Credit consumption varies by model and by job, so a small test generation will not tell you the cost of a large batch. The daily cap of 10 assistant conversations is the real constraint on the free account, so if you rely on the assistant heavily, compare that cap against the credit cost of the paid tiers. Even with the assistant, review outputs before commercial release, especially for brand sensitive work.
